A scooter rider was taken to hospital following a collision with a vehicle in Mississauga on Wednesday afternoon.
Peel Regional Police responded to a crash at Cawthra Road and Queensway East shortly after 12:30 p.m. An adult male scooter rider was transported to a trauma centre in critical condition, though his injuries were later determined to be non-life-threatening.
The driver of the other vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The collision led to temporary road closures in the area, with motorists advised to avoid the intersection. Police reopened the roadway around 3:30 p.m. after completing their initial investigation.
