A 77-year-old man from Capreol died Monday morning in an ATV crash north of the community. Ontario Provincial Police, along with EMS, were called to the scene on Old Portelance Gervais Lumber Road, located about 55 kilometers north of Capreol, around 10:35 a.m. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, with assistance from the OPP collision reconstructionist and the traffic collision investigation team to determine the cause of the crash.
