London police are investigating a serious collision involving a motorized scooter and a vehicle in the city’s downtown core.
Emergency crews, including London Police Service, London Fire, and EMS, responded to the intersection of Richmond Street and Queen’s Avenue at approximately 7 a.m. on June 6. The crash involved an elderly woman operating a motorized scooter and a red sedan.
The woman sustained serious, life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment.
Queen’s Avenue remains closed west of Richmond Street as investigators continue to examine the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
