Drivers on Highway 11 faced two separate disruptions in the Orillia area Thursday afternoon, although no injuries were reported.
Southbound lanes at Memorial Avenue were temporarily shut down around 3 p.m. after power lines were knocked down. The OPP said a large vehicle struck the lines and left the area. Police are continuing to search for the vehicle involved.
The southbound closure lasted about 30 minutes, with lanes reopening around 3:30 p.m.
A separate collision farther north near Telford Line in Ardtrea involved a transport truck. The crash resulted in lane restrictions as crews worked to clear concrete debris from the highway.
Police said no injuries were reported in either incident.
