Two drivers were taken to hospital following a serious collision in Mono on Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred shortly before 9 a.m. near Airport Road and Highway 89 and involved a passenger vehicle and a commercial vehicle, with only the drivers inside.
The driver of the passenger vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre for treatment. The commercial vehicle driver sustained minor injuries and was also taken to hospital.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision and are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or may have relevant information to contact investigators.
