Two people were injured in a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning in Mississauga. The collision occurred around 2:10 a.m. on Highway 403 near Matheson Boulevard, in the median between the eastbound and westbound lanes, according to provincial police.
Paramedics arrived at the scene around 4:20 a.m., reporting challenges in locating the victims due to the nature of the crash. A woman in critical condition and a man with serious injuries were transported to a regional trauma centre.
The exact cause of the collision is still under investigation.
