Cleanup efforts are ongoing in Perth County after a serious crash led to a hazardous spill on Road 164 Friday evening.

Emergency crews responded around 5:30 p.m. after a tractor trailer collided with an SUV, causing the truck to overturn. The rollover resulted in a spill of fuel and fertilizer, prompting an extended road closure. Both drivers were evaluated at the scene, with one person transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Police shut down Road 164 between Line 42 and Line 46, anticipating a multi-hour closure while crews worked to contain and clear the scene.
