A 26-year-old Norfolk County resident has died after a two-vehicle crash in Brant County on Saturday afternoon.
Ontario Provincial Police say the collision occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Muir Line between the Eighth and Ninth concessions. Emergency crews responded, but one driver was pronounced dead at the scene due to life-threatening injuries.
The second driver was taken to hospital with injuries of unknown severity. OPP officer Ed Sanchuk offered condolences to the victim’s family and friends and thanked bystanders who stopped to help before emergency responders arrived.
Police continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact Brant OPP.
