Emergency crews were called to a collision at a rural south-end intersection in Barrie on Sunday afternoon near Veterans Drive and Salem Road.
At least two heavily damaged vehicles—a black hatchback and a black SUV—were towed from the southeast corner, both showing significant front-end damage, with the hatchback’s airbag deployed. A third dark-coloured sedan was also stopped at the scene on the opposite corner.
Crews worked to clear debris from the roadway while firefighters managed traffic, directing a steady line of vehicles through the intersection.
