A New Tecumseth man has been charged after an early-morning crash on County Road 50 in Adjala-Tosorontio that injured several people.
Provincial police report that one vehicle struck another from behind, trapping a passenger who had to be freed by emergency crews. Another passenger was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and one driver received minor injuries.
Police say they arrested one of the drivers after determining he was impaired. The 35-year-old is now facing charges for impaired driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit and for causing bodily harm.
