Ontario Provincial Police in Bracebridge laid impaired driving charges against four drivers following four separate crashes over a three-day period across the Muskoka region.

On May 8, officers responded to a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 11 South near Southwood Road in Gravenhurst. A 36-year-old man from Orillia was charged with drug-impaired driving.

The following afternoon, police attended a two-vehicle collision at Bay Street and Muskoka Road South in Gravenhurst after a pickup truck struck the rear of a tanker truck. A 32-year-old Gravenhurst man was arrested and charged with impaired operation by drug.

Later that evening, around 6:35 p.m., officers investigated another single-vehicle crash on Shea Road in Muskoka Lakes Township, where a vehicle had been left in a ditch. Police later located the driver, a 57-year-old woman from Utterson, and charged her with impaired driving.

On May 10, emergency crews responded to a head-on collision on Eveleigh Road in Muskoka Lakes Township involving two vehicles. One driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Following the investigation, a 38-year-old woman from Port Carling was charged with impaired operation and dangerous driving.
