Several people were injured in a two-vehicle collision in west London early Sunday, prompting road closures and an emergency response. London Fire Department crews were called to the intersection of Wonderland Road and Oxford Street around 2 a.m., where one individual had to be freed from a vehicle and handed over to paramedics.
Four others were taken to hospital with serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Parts of southbound Wonderland Road and eastbound Oxford Street were temporarily closed as police investigated.
The cause of the crash and the possibility of charges have not yet been determined.
