Three individuals were hospitalized following a collision involving a motorcycle and several pedestrians in Ottawa’s Little Italy neighbourhood on Sunday night.
Ottawa police responded to the scene at the intersection of Carling Avenue and Preston Street around 7:50 p.m. after reports of a motorcycle striking multiple people.
Paramedics treated and transported three adults to hospital. A 30-year-old man suffered injuries to his limbs, while a 26-year-old man sustained abdominal injuries. Both were reported in stable condition. A 34-year-old woman was also taken to hospital with minor injuries and was listed as stable.
Authorities confirmed that none of the injuries were life-threatening. The area was temporarily shut down as police conducted an investigation, but roads have since reopened.
No arrests or charges have been announced, and the investigation remains ongoing.
