Ontario’s police watchdog is investigating a serious collision in Windsor Friday morning.
The crash occurred around 8:28 a.m. after a Windsor police officer attempted to stop a vehicle on Walker Road near Seymour Boulevard. The suspect failed to stop and collided with another vehicle shortly after. Two people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Walker Road remains closed between Sydney Avenue and Foster Avenue while the investigation continues. The Ontario Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is examining the circumstances of the crash.
