A 30-year-old man from Strathroy has died following a crash involving a sedan and a transport truck in Oxford County on Sunday evening.

The collision occurred just before 7 p.m. at the intersection of Culloden Line and Mount Elgin Road in South-West Oxford. The driver of the sedan was rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The lone passenger in the sedan was also taken to a trauma center, though the severity of their injuries has not been disclosed. The driver of the transport truck was not injured.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and both Culloden Line and Mount Elgin Road were closed for several hours during the police investigation before reopening.

Police are asking anyone with information to come forward, either by contacting authorities or Crime Stoppers.
