A 20-year-old Sudbury man has died following a single-vehicle collision involving a moose on Highway 17.
Ontario Provincial Police said the crash occurred around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 17, west of the Highway 144 junction.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Police closed the eastbound lanes for approximately eight hours while officers investigated the collision.
The highway has since reopened.
