Guelph Police are searching for the driver of an SUV involved in a hit-and-run collision on Saturday morning.

Officers responded to the intersection of Suffolk Street East and Woolwich Street around 10 a.m. after receiving reports that a grey SUV had rear-ended a pickup truck before leaving the scene.

Investigators say the SUV sustained damage to its front end during the collision.

Witnesses described the driver as a man believed to be in his 30s with brown skin, a black beard, and a turban. He was also reported to be wearing blue gloves.

Police are continuing their investigation and are seeking information that could help identify the driver.
