A 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital Thursday after being struck by a vehicle while riding an e-scooter in Ottawa’s ByWard Market.
Ottawa paramedics responded to the collision at Clarence and Dalhousie streets at approximately 11:35 a.m. The teen was travelling on the e-scooter at a low speed when he was hit by the vehicle, according to emergency officials.
Police said the boy remained conscious following the collision and was transported to hospital in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
