A 16-year-old from Lucan Biddulph has died after a collision between a dirt bike and an SUV on Denfield Road Tuesday afternoon, Ontario Provincial Police say.
Emergency crews, including Ornge air ambulance, responded to the crash between Airport Drive and Elginfield Road (Highway 7) at approximately 4:44 p.m. The teen was airlifted to hospital with critical injuries and later died. The SUV driver was also taken to hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Police have not released the cause of the collision, and the investigation remains ongoing. Denfield Road was temporarily closed while officers examined the scene but has since reopened.
