A teenage girl was hospitalized Tuesday evening after being struck by a vehicle while crossing a Cambridge intersection.
Emergency crews and police responded to King Street East at Waterloo Street North shortly after 5 p.m. following reports of a pedestrian collision.
According to police, the girl was crossing the road when she was hit by a Honda sedan travelling eastbound on King Street East. The teenager was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries that police said were not considered life-threatening.
The 27-year-old Cambridge man driving the car was not injured.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
