Thirteen people were taken to hospital with minor injuries after two TTC buses collided in Toronto’s York area on Monday afternoon.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West. Paramedics transported 13 patients, including one teenager and 12 adults, to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have not yet determined what caused the collision and continue to investigate the incident.

As a result of the investigation, one eastbound lane of Lawrence Avenue West at Weston Road remains closed to traffic.
