A woman was seriously hurt in a two-vehicle collision in west Ottawa on Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews responded around 10:15 a.m. to a crash involving a car and a pickup truck at the intersection of Carp Road and Richardson Side Road.
According to Ottawa paramedics spokesperson Marc-Antoine Deschamps, the woman was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition, with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Two others involved were treated at the scene for minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.
Police temporarily shut down southbound lanes on Carp Road at Richardson Side Road while the investigation was underway.
