Three people were taken to hospital following a collision involving a horse-drawn buggy and an SUV in Norwich on Tuesday morning.
Police responded to the crash on Norwich Road shortly before 10:30 a.m. The SUV driver was transported to hospital as a precaution, while the buggy driver and passenger were also taken for medical treatment. The buggy driver was later airlifted to a London hospital, with the extent of their injuries not yet known.
The horse was not injured in the collision. Norwich Road remains closed between Middletown Line and Oxford Road 13 as the investigation continues.
Police are asking nearby residents and drivers with dashcam or surveillance footage to contact investigators.
