Three people were taken to trauma centres following a four-vehicle collision in Brampton early Sunday morning.

Peel Regional Police said the crash occurred shortly after 1 a.m. on Steeles Avenue at the northbound Highway 410 ramp. Three individuals were transported to hospital, with two reported in stable condition. A third initially sustained potentially life-threatening injuries, but investigators later confirmed the injuries were downgraded to non-life-threatening.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

The crash prompted temporary closures on Steeles Avenue and several Highway 410 ramps while emergency crews responded and cleared the scene. All affected roads have since reopened.
