Three people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in the Ottawa Valley on Wednesday morning.

Ontario Provincial Police responded to the collision on River Road in McNab/Braeside at 11 a.m. As a result, River Road was closed in both directions near Sandys Lane in Braeside while police conducted their investigation.

The road was reopened around 4:40 p.m. after crews had cleared the debris from the scene. Police thanked the public for their patience during the investigation and cleanup.

At this time, no further details have been released, including the severity of the injuries sustained by the victims. The crash took place approximately 82 kilometers west of downtown Ottawa.
