A serious two-vehicle crash on Highway 169, just west of Gravenhurst, sent three individuals to the hospital on Tuesday evening around 6:30 p.m. According to provincial police, all three sustained life-threatening injuries.

While two remain in a nearby hospital, the third was flown to a trauma centre in Toronto. The collision prompted a lengthy closure of Muskoka Road 169 between Parkers Point Road and Narrows Road as authorities carried out their investigation.

Update – Two men, aged 50 and 61, from Gravenhurst and Muskoka Lakes Township respectively have died from their injures.
