Three people were injured in a crash along the Brampton–Caledon border, prompting an extended road closure earlier in the day. Ontario Provincial Police say the collision occurred on Mayfield Road near Airport Road and Innis Lake Road around 9 a.m.
Peel Regional Paramedic Services transported three victims from the scene, including two with minor injuries and one with serious injuries. The ages of those involved were not released.
Mayfield Road was closed between Airport Road and Innis Lake Road while police investigated but has since reopened.
