Three teenagers were taken to hospital after a vehicle reportedly went over the escarpment on Hamilton’s East Mountain early Friday morning.
The crash occurred around 1 a.m. near Mountain Brow Boulevard and Fennell Avenue. A witness reported that the car fell several metres down the escarpment before coming to a stop. Emergency crews transported the three occupants to hospital, though the severity of their injuries has not been confirmed.
The vehicle was later recovered by a tow truck and removed via the rail trail near Wentworth Street South. Authorities have not laid any charges, and the investigation remains ongoing.
