Fire crews are continuing to address hot spots following a house fire in Brampton on Monday morning that led to delays on Brampton Transit. The fire broke out around 10:30 a.m. near Robert Parkinson Drive and Polstar Road.

At least one home was engulfed in flames, with concerns that the fire may have spread to nearby properties. Brampton Transit detoured Route 27 in both directions around the area while emergency services responded.

No injuries have been reported, and the fire has been extinguished, though firefighters are still working to fully address the remaining hot spots.

Police are advising drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
