Two children were injured after being struck by a vehicle in North York on Thursday afternoon.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:07 p.m. near Jane Street and Driftwood Avenue. Police said an eight-year-old girl and a six-year-old boy were walking with a caregiver when they were hit by a vehicle.
Paramedics transported both children to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, including one child who suffered minor injuries.
The driver remained at the scene as investigators examined the circumstances surrounding the collision. Jane Street was temporarily closed between Shoreham Drive and Driftwood Avenue during the investigation before reopening later in the day.
