Two people have died and two others were injured following a collision involving an off-road utility vehicle and an SUV in Norfolk County.
The crash occurred shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Blueline Road and Concession 6 Woodhouse. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported the SUV driver to hospital with injuries that have not been specified.
Two occupants of the off-road vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene, while a third passenger was taken to hospital for treatment.
The roadway remained closed for more than eight hours as investigators examined the scene. Authorities have not yet released details about what led to the collision, and no charges have been announced. The investigation is ongoing.
