Wellington County OPP charged two drivers with impaired driving on Halloween night in separate incidents just minutes apart.
The first occurred around 10:45 p.m. on Metcalfe Street in Elora, where a two-vehicle crash led to a 26-year-old Waterloo resident being charged with impaired operation. No injuries were reported.
About 15 minutes later, police stopped a 70-year-old Mount Forest driver on Highway 6 in Wellington North Township after reports of erratic driving. That individual was charged with impaired and dangerous operation.
Both drivers had their licences suspended for 90 days, and their vehicles impounded for 45 days.
