Ontario Provincial Police reported that two people were hospitalized following a collision between two tractor trailers on Highway 402 westbound in Sarnia early Wednesday morning, around 3 a.m.
Westbound lanes are closed between Indian Road and Christina Street, and eastbound lanes are closed between Indian Road and Front Street. The closures are expected to last several hours for vehicle removal and cleanup.
One truck driver has serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, while the other has minor injuries. Police are advising drivers to take alternate routes and are seeking any information or dashcam footage from the public.
