Two drivers were injured in a collision that occurred Saturday morning in Chatham. Emergency crews responded to the crash around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Bloomfield Road and Richmond Street, involving an SUV and a vintage car.
According to Chatham-Kent Police, the SUV was traveling west on Richmond Street while the vintage car was heading west on Bloomfield Road. The vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection.
The 27-year-old SUV driver from Windsor suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital. The 88-year-old vintage car driver from Chatham was seriously injured and airlifted to hospital.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident
