Toronto police are investigating a late-night crash in Scarborough that seriously injured two drivers, one critically.
The collision occurred around 11:15 p.m. near Lawrence Avenue East and Markham Road. Investigators say an 18-year-old driving a white 2018 Toyota Camry was heading westbound when it struck a grey 2015 Lexus ES 300 driven by a 36-year-old man who was attempting a left turn into a plaza.
The impact ejected the Lexus driver from his vehicle. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the Toyota driver was transported with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Traffic services are handling the investigation and are asking anyone with dashcam or security footage from the area to come forward.
