Two drivers were seriously injured in a head-on crash south of Ottawa on Tuesday morning. Ontario Provincial Police responded to the scene on Brinston Road at Snowbird Road, near South Mountain, shortly after 7 a.m. The collision involved a car and a pickup truck, with a third vehicle also damaged and a fourth vehicle swerving off the road to avoid the crash.

The drivers of the two vehicles that collided — an 18-year-old man and a 70-year-old man — were both taken to hospital with serious injuries. OPP is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
