A section of downtown Toronto was temporarily closed Tuesday afternoon after a driver collided with a marked police cruiser and several parked vehicles near Toronto City Hall. The incident occurred near Bay and Albert streets, just north of Queen Street West, shortly before 3 p.m.

Toronto police confirmed that one male has been taken into custody. Paramedics transported two individuals to hospital with minor injuries.

The intersection was cordoned off for investigation, and Bay Street was closed from Queen to Dundas Street West. The area has since reopened. The investigation remains ongoing.
