A crash in Brantford left two people injured after a vehicle struck a building on Monday afternoon.
Police were called to the area of Shellard Lane and Colborne Street West around 2 p.m. following reports of the collision. Investigators say a male driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries, while a woman inside the building was also transported for treatment of minor injuries.
The impact led to a road closure on Colborne Street West between Shellard Lane and Lyndsay Street as officers continued their investigation at the scene. Motorists were urged to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
Police are asking witnesses or anyone with relevant footage or information to come forward.
