Two people were injured in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 401 early Saturday morning. Provincial police report that a white tractor-trailer struck another vehicle in the westbound lanes between James Snow Parkway and Highway 25 shortly after 5 a.m.
The truck driver fled the scene. The vehicle’s driver sustained minor injuries, while the passenger was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Police are asking witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
