Two men were hospitalized following a high-speed single-vehicle crash in Uxbridge Wednesday morning, with one in critical condition.
Durham police and paramedics responded around 7:40 a.m. to York Durham Line and Aurora Road, where a vehicle traveling east crossed the intersection, entered a private road at high speed, and then left the road, crashing into a field.
The 22-year-old driver sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while the 20-year-old passenger was critically injured. The collision’s cause remains under investigation. Police are seeking information from the public through direct contact or Crime Stoppers.
Update – The 20-year-old passenger has succumbed to his injuries.
