On August 1, two pedestrians were injured when struck by a vehicle on a suburban street in Innisfil, near the intersection of Lawson Street and Boyes Street, around 4:50 p.m. The 48-year-old driver remained at the scene, and both victims were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Emergency responders from South Simcoe Police and Simcoe County attended the scene. Following an investigation, the driver was charged with careless driving.
