Police are searching for suspects after two separate pedestrian hit-and-run collisions on Tuesday.

The first occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Reginald Street near Ford Boulevard, where a man walking in the area was struck by a red pickup truck that continued driving. Investigators believe the vehicle may have been a Dodge Ram or Ford F-150, but no additional details have been confirmed.

The second incident happened just after 7 p.m. at Wyandotte Street West and Wellington Avenue. A woman in a crosswalk was hit by a left-turning vehicle, knocked to the ground, and then had her leg run over. Police say the driver briefly stopped, looked at the injured woman, and then fled westbound.

The suspect is described as a tall, slender Black man between 25 and 45 years old, clean-shaven and wearing an orange reflective jacket, multicoloured toque, glasses, and blue jeans. The vehicle involved was a dark grey or black SUV.

Both victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Police are urging residents and businesses in the affected areas to review any available camera footage and contact Windsor police or Crime Stoppers with information.
