Two pedestrians were injured in the Fontainebleau area after being struck by a vehicle on Thursday afternoon. The incident occurred at around 4:45 p.m. at the intersection of Tecumseh Road East and Princess Avenue.
The two women, both taken to hospital, were struck while crossing. Both of them suffered non life-threatening injuries. The vehicle driver remained at the scene.
The intersection was closed for several hours while authorities investigated, but reopened around 8 p.m.
