A stretch of Highway 7 near Perth has been shut down following a two-vehicle collision involving a propane truck and a passenger vehicle on Saturday.
Ontario Provincial Police first alerted the public in the afternoon, urging drivers to avoid the area. Later updates confirmed that two individuals were taken to hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Emergency crews remain on scene, with a tow truck working to remove the damaged vehicles and reopen the roadway as quickly as possible.
The highway was closed between Leachs Road and Tennyson Road as amergency crews worked to remove the damaged vehicles and clear the scene. Authorities confirmed the highway was back open shortly after 10 p.m.
