A multi-vehicle collision on Toronto’s Don Valley Parkway sent two people to hospital and caused extensive congestion Saturday evening.
Police say five vehicles collided in the northbound lanes near Gerrard Street East shortly before 7 p.m. Two people were taken to hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The circumstances leading up to the crash have not yet been determined.
Three northbound lanes remained closed, creating significant delays and backing up traffic from the Gardiner Expressway onto the Don Valley Parkway.
