Two people were seriously injured in separate crashes in Brampton Thursday afternoon. The first collision, involving two vehicles, occurred around 2 p.m. near Clark Boulevard and Elrose Road, sending a man to hospital with serious injuries.
About an hour later, emergency crews responded to another crash nearby at Clark Boulevard and West Drive, where a sedan and a truck collided, injuring a woman who was also taken to hospital. Peel police say there is no evidence linking the two incidents, and investigators are still determining the causes. It’s not yet clear if wet road conditions contributed to either crash.
