Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a late-night crash in Dufferin County that sent two people to hospital.

Emergency crews were called around 11:55 p.m. to a three-vehicle collision on Highway 10 between County Road 17 and 280 Sideroad. One man was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while another was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre with initially life-threatening injuries.

Police later reported Saturday morning that the airlifted individual is now in stable condition. The driver and passenger in the third vehicle were not hurt.

Specialized collision investigators continue to examine the scene, and the affected stretch of Highway 10 remained closed into Saturday as the investigation proceeded.
