A collision between two school buses occurred around 3:20 p.m. Wednesday near Greenbank Road and Craig Henry Drive in Ottawa’s west end. The incident happened during dismissal outside Knoxdale Public School.
Ottawa paramedics assessed four individuals at the scene, all of whom sustained only minor injuries. No one required hospitalization. According to a message sent to parents by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, a few students had minor scrapes and cuts and were treated by paramedics.
School staff provided immediate support to students, with continued support planned for the following day. The Ottawa Student Transportation Authority arranged alternate transportation for affected students. The cause of the collision remains unknown.
