Timmins police responded to two separate collisions on Tuesday evening that led to temporary intersection closures across the city.

The first crash occurred around 3:40 p.m. at Highway 655 and Algonquin Boulevard East, shutting down the intersection in all directions for nearly four hours. It reopened shortly before 7:30 p.m. Police have not confirmed whether anyone was injured in that incident.

Later in the evening, shortly after 6:15 p.m., officers were called to a second collision involving a vehicle and a cyclist at Moneta Avenue and Pine Street South. That intersection was also temporarily closed but has since reopened.

Police confirmed there were minor injuries in the collision. Both incidents remain under investigation.
