On Thursday, two separate collisions near Pearson International Airport caused significant delays on Highway 401 in Mississauga.
The first incident occurred just before 5 p.m. in the westbound express lanes at Renforth Drive, closing four right lanes and slowing traffic. Ontario Provincial Police reported that two vehicles were involved.
A second crash took place around 6:19 p.m. on the westbound 401 on-ramp at Eglinton Avenue, affecting the left shoulder and left lane.
Ontario 511 later confirmed that both scenes have been cleared and all affected lanes have reopened.
